The rich history of success within the Owens Community College Athletic Department includes not only current sport offerings but also sports that have been suspended. Below is a timeline of Express sports as well as a link to program information. 

• Current sport offerings: Women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, softball, baseball, men's and women's soccer
• 2024-25 - Men's soccer re-emerges
• 2023-24 - Women's soccer re-emerges
• 2018-19 – Baseball and softball re-emerge
• 2016-17 – Men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s golf, baseball and softball were suspended
• 1994-95 – Women’s volleyball returns as a sport
• 1992-93 – Women’s basketball returns as a sport
• 1982-83 – Women’s basketball is suspended
• 1981-82 – Women’s volleyball is suspended
• 1978-79 – Men’s and women’s tennis are removed as sports
• 1976-77 – Women’s volleyball is added as a sport
• 1975-76 – Women’s basketball is added as a sport
• 1974-75 – Men’s and women’s tennis are added as sports
