Eitniear, Kelly Named Athletes of the Year At Athletic Awards Banquet

Perrysburg, OH---Express women's soccer player Kendra Eitniear and Express men's basketball player James Kelly were named the Express Female and Male Athletes of the Year at the 2013 Owens Express Athletic Awards Banquet held at Hilton Garden Inn on Sunday.

Eitniear finished her career as the program's leading career scorer. She was named NJCAA D-I Honorable Mention All-American this past season. Meanwhile, Kelly earned NJCAA D-II All-American honors this past season after becoming the first player in Express men's basketball history to achieve at least 1,000 points, 600 rebounds, 100 steals and 100 blocks in his career.

Eitniear will continue her academic and athletic career at Tiffin University, while Kelly will attend the University of Miami (Fla.).
