Owens Career: In 2001, he ranked No. 13 in the OCCAC with a .366 batting average and set an Owens record for walks in a season with 33.  McCloskey was third on the team with 39 runs and 14 stolen bases.

High School: 2000 Cardinal Stritch High School graduate, Oregon, Ohio, where he was a two-year First Team and Second Team All-Toledo Area Athletic Conference selection.
