Prior to Owens: As a junior at Fairfield, Morrow went 4-0 with a 2.12 ERA. Additionally, he went 6-2 with a 3.51 ERA for his summer team, while also hitting .335 as a first baseman.He was named to the SouthWest Ohio League All Star Team and named MVP in the Hoosier Classic High School Showcase Tournament. Moreover, he went 3-0 with a 1.00 ERA while leading his Lakota Diamond Dawgs 18U summer select travel team to an 18U K Sports Fall Championship and Fall Brawl Tournament Championship. He played for coach Larry Price at Fairfield.

Personal: Nick is the son of John and Lana Crabtree. He has five siblings - Steve, Lindsay, Taylor, Kylie and Emma.
