Prior to Owens: Street is a 2012 graudate of Rockford, who threw a complete game no-hitter against Wyoming Rogers HS in his first varsity start during his junior season. Overall, Street struck out 19, while only walking six in 13.3 innings pitched for the state champion team coached by Ian Hearn. Also, during the summer after his junior year, Street pitched for the Grand Rapids Diamonds summer league team and went 4-1 on the mound under the tutelage of Coach Syme. He has been an honor roll student at Rockford every year and was an offensive guard for the varsity football team.

Personal: Nick is the son of Jon and Deborah Street. He has two brothers, Shane and Jason.
