Toledo, OH---Sophomore first baseman Austin Cowan was named the OCCAC Baseball Player of the Week for games ending April 14.

In two games against Sinclair, Cowan hit 3-for-7 with a run and two RBIs. The Express and the Tartan Pride had their games moved from Friday/Saturday to Sunday/Monday, so only two games were eligible for POW nomination.

Overall this year, Cowan is hitting .333 with 16 RBIs. In OCCAC play alone, he is hitting .375, which is ninth best in the conference, along with 14 RBIs and five runs.

The Express are 11-18 overall and 6-10 in OCCAC play.

Cowan's teammate, Logan Shullick, was named POW last week - giving the Express back-to-back POW winners.
