2014-15: Bekier went 4-4 with a 4.48 ERA over 66.1 innings as a freshman. In 13 appearances, he made 10 starts, tossed three complete games, picked up one save and struck out a team-high 47. On March 22, he was named the OCCAC Pitcher of the Week, and he was the only player from Owens to achieve that honor in 2014-15.

Prior to Owens: Bekier was a First Team All-Toledo Area Athletic Conference (TAAC) selection at Cardinal Stritch, where he graduated in 2013. He spent last season with the Tiffin University baseball team, where he redshirted.

Personal: Robbie is the son of Robert and Traci Bekier. He has one sister, Kelsey.
