Toledo, Ohio---The Owens Community College baseball program will host an open tryout on Saturday Aug. 29 at 12 p.m.

In order to participate, you must have a physical and sign a waiver. More importantly, you must be registered as a full-time student for the fall semester.

The tryout will be held at the baseball field on the Toledo campus.

In 2015, the Owens baseball team went 23-25, captured the Sub-Region XII tournament championship and finished third in the Region XII tournament. It was the program's best postseason finish since 2007.
