Toledo, Ohio---Mason McWilliams, a left-handed pitcher from NCAA Division I Ohio University, is transferring to Owens Community College, and he highlights a group of three recent additions to next year's team.

Mason McWilliams (5'11" LHP/Seneca East High School/Bellevue, Ohio)

McWilliams was First Team All-Ohio and the Ohio Division IV Player of the Year as a senior at Seneca East.

"Mason will help in reloading the pitching staff that lost three starters from last year," said Owens Community College head baseball coach John Parisho. "He comes in with leadership qualities and is a pitcher who can command the strike zone. We are very happy to have Mason coming in to join our team."

As a junior, McWilliams had 110 strikeouts in 66.2 innings, while compiling a 1.99 ERA. Offensively, he hit .433 with 32 RBI and 16 steals.

Andrew Reich (6'1" RHP/Charlestown High School/Charlestown, Ind.)

Heading into his senior year at Charlestown, Reich had a high school pitching record of 22-3, and he carried a 22 game winning streak into the season with a 2.50 ERA and 185 strikeouts.

"Drew is coming off an outstanding high school career and we look forward to seeing him further develop in a Owens uniform and add stability to our pitching staff," Parisho said. "He comes to Owens with good command off the mound and a great attitude toward the game and team."

Caleb Aaron (5'11" LHP, Eastern Howard High School/Greentown, Ind.)

"Caleb is guy who will also add great stability to our pitching staff," Parisho said. "All of his pitches have movement and are tough to hit. He's another guy who  is also a great team guy. We are very excited to have Caleb joining our program."

Notes

In 2015, the Owens baseball team went 23-25, captured the Sub-Region XII tournament championship and finished third in the Region XII tournament. It was the program's best postseason finish since 2007.
