The Express Swept Community Christian College in three games this weekend with scores: 10-0, 21-2, 17-3.
Game 1: A very tightly contested game with a score of 4-0 at the end of the fourth inning. The Express then scored six runs to mercy-rule the Lions in five innings. Brian Messing, with a two-out bases-clearing double, walked it off for the Express. Jackson Grine threw all five innings, allowing just two hits.
Game 2: The bats were alive early and often, scoring nine runs in the first inning and eight runs in the second inning. Landon Amstutz led the way with three hits and three RBIs. Coltin Chany had a perfect game going into the last inning, but ultimately gave up a hit and a walk, ending that feat.
Game 3: Rainy day, had to move the game to Mercy Field, but the offense still traveled. The offense tallied fourteen hits and seven stolen bases. Jacob Shadle led the way with four hits and four RBIs. Jackson Bauer earns the win, going 2.1 innings, allowing just one hit.
