Toledo, Ohio---Derrik Jamerson Jr. (Cornerstone/Pontiac, Mich.), a sophomore guard on the Owens Community College men's basketball team, has been named the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) Division II player of the week.

The team's leading scorer and NCAA Division I Norfolk State signee is also averaging 14.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.9 steals, 1.8 assists and 1.8 blocks per game in conference play.
