Art Johnson returns for his eighth season as head coach of the Owens Community College men's soccer program.  He is a 19-year veteran of the St. John's Jesuit High School soccer program.  In 12 seasons as head coach, Johnson complied a 150-51-20 record.  He was named the 1997 Division I Ohio private school Coach of the Year.  Johnson has lead the Express to four consecutive winning seasons, with an overall record of 71-6-7.  He was named Coach of the Year twice by the OCCAC in 2002 and 2003.  Johnson has four NJCAA Regional Apperances in 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2004.

 He is a native of Rochester, New York, and played soccer at Monroe Community College in 1975.  Johnson graduated from Ohio University in 1978, where he captained the team as a senior, returning as an assistant the following season.  He resides in Toledo.
