Art Johnson returns for his 12th season as head coach of the Owens men's soccer program.  His accomplishments include being named NJCAA Region XII Coach of the Year in 2005 and OCCAC Coach of the Year in 2006.  During his tenure at Owens, Johnson-led teams have compiled a 116-93-14 overall record.  Additionally, he is a 19-year veteran of the St. John's Jesuit High School soccer program.  In 12 seasons as head coach, Johnson compiled a 150-51-20 record.  He was named the 1997 Division I Ohio private school Coach of the Year.  Johnson is a native of Rochester, N.Y., and played soccer at Monroe Community College in 1975.  Johnson graduated from Ohio University in 1978, where he captained the team as a senior.  The Toledo resident returned as an assistant the following season.
