Perrysburg, OH - Nickyle Webber (Cornwall College/Trelawny, Jamaica) continued his fine play lately by scoring the first and last goal for the Express men's soccer team Wednesday in a 3-0 win over Lakeland Community College.

Webber scored just 1:19 into the game on an assist from Jauvanie Cole (Coconut Creek/Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) to put Owens up 1-0.

Owens then had plenty of opportunities to score following that, but couldn't put another one in the net until late in the second half. That's when Travis Turner (Springfield/Holland, Ohio) scored at the 73:36 mark on another assist from Cole. Just 1:05 later, Webber struck again on an assist from Novak Vuk Janicic (Elektro Technicka Skola/Belgrade, Serbia).

Jake Olman (Maumee/Maumee, Ohio) started in goal for Owens and stopped one shot. The Express outshot Lakeland 19-6.

Owens (7-3 overall, 6-3 Region XII) takes its five-game winning streak to University Center, Mich., to take on Delta College on Sunday.
