2000 honors: Drain broke the single season record for strikeouts (113), was ranked 17th nationally among strikeout leaders and 12th national for ERA (2.554), and led the OCCAC in pitching with an ERA of 2.10.

High School: Drain was Honorable Mention All-SLL and Honorable Mention All-District at Genoa.
