Jennifer Hughes begins her first season with the Owens softball program as an assistant coach. A 1999 graduate of Northwood High School, Hughes earned her associates degree from Owens in 2000. She was a member off the very successful Owens volleyball and softball teams from 1999-2001. A Coaches Award recipient in volleyball, Hughes played on teams which were third in the nation in 1999 and 2000. An All-OCCAC selection in softball, Hughes was also a member of the 2000 OCCAC regular season championship team. She resides in Northwood.
