Owens career: In 2002, Shultz was a First Team All-OCCAC selection. In 43 games, she scored 40 runs and was second on the team with 50 hits, while compiling a .424 batting average. She also broke the team record with 15 stolen bases.

High School: Shultz was a First Team, two-time Second Team and Honorable Mention All-Suburban Lakes League selection. She also earned Honorable Mention All-District honors and was a three-time First Team and Honorable Mention All-Wood County selection. Shultz received three varsity letters in both volleyball and basketball.
