Owens career: Coressel earned the team's Heart of a Champion award in 2007. She collected 39 hits and 22 runs, while compiling a .331 batting average. Additionally, she was second on the team with 10 stolen bases. From 2005-07, Coressel was a member of the Express women's basketball program.

High School: Coressel was First Team and Honorable Mention All-Northwest Ohio Athletic League (NWOAL), as well as First Team and Second Team All-District. She also holds the scholl record for the highest batting average. Additionally, Coressel was a First Team All-NWOAL, First Team All-District and Special Mention All-Ohio selection in basketball.
