Owens career: Temple was selected as a First Team NJCAA D-II All-American as a freshman, which ended up being her only year with the Express before transferring to Tiffin University for her final three years. In her one year with the Express, Temple hit .509 with 108 at bats, 55 hits, 13 doubles, eight triples, 54 RBI and 30 runs. 

High School: Temple was First Team and Second Team All-Toledo City League, First Team and Second Team All-District, and First Team All-Ohio. She was also named the Toledo City League Player of the Year and earned All-Toledo City League honors in soccer and basketball.
