Owens career: Hensley was a First Team All-OCCAC selection in 2008. She collected 33 hits, 19 RBI and a .375 batting average. She led the team with 10 doubles and 27 runs scored. From 2005-06, she was a member of the Express volleyball team.

High School: Hensley was Second Team All-Midland Athletic League, Honorable Mention All-District and a Golden Glove award winner. Additionally, Hensley was an Honorable Mention All-MAL selection in volleyball and basketball.
