Owens career: In 2008, Johnson was a First Team All-OCCAC and All-Region XII selection. Her accomplishments also included being named OCCAC Pitcher of the Yera and the team's most improved player. She compiled a 13-8 record with two saves and a 1.66 ERA.

High School: Johnson was a Second team and Honorable Mention All-Northern Ohio League selection at Bellevue.
