Prior to Owens: Roznoski comes to Owens from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio, and is one of four transfers for the Express. At Ursuline College, she started every game at shortstop. However, with the Express, she will play centerfield. Roznoski was third on the team at Ursuline College with a .321 batting average last season and started all 41 games in the leadoff spot, while accumulating 44 hits in 138 at-bats and scoring 25 runs. Additionally, she had one double, one triple, three RBIs, 47 totals bases, 10 walks, a .343 slugging percentage, a .369 on-base percentage, and she had 32 steals in 42 attempts. She was a two sport athlete (softball and cross country) at Cardinal Stritch, where she was named the Toledo Area Athletic Conference (TAAC) Player of the Year and First Team All-District as a senior. During her junior year, she was also named TAAC Player of the Year along with First Team All-TAAC, Honorable Mention All-District, and Alan Miller/The Press Co-Player of the Year. She earned First Team All-TAAC honors as a sophomore and Second Team All-TAAC as a freshman. She played for coach Rick Henning. Roznoski earned Second Team All-TAAC honors in cross country three years in a row. Academically, she was a member of the National Honor Society during her junior and senior years. She lists her two career home runs as her greatest personal sports thrill.

Personal: Kristen is the daughter of Mark Roznoski and Jackie Tschan. Her stepmother is Jen Morgan. She is a social work transfer major at Owens.
