Kevin Snyder spent seven seasons as an assistant coach for Owens softball program.

He was the team's hitting instructor, head recruiter and infield coach. He previously served as a volunteer assistant coach from 2005-07. His daughter, Jessica, is a former member of the Express softball program (2006-07).

In his seven seasons, Owens compiled a 222-84 record overall and captured six OCCAC championships. In 2014, the team went 27-9 overall and captured the OCCAC title.

Snyder coached the SGS Magic 16U summer travel program for the five seasons prior to his departure from Owens. Prior to that, he was the head coach for the Sylvania Sharks Travel Summer Team from 2000-06 and in 2008. The Sylvania resident also was an assistant coach for the JV and varsity girls softball teams at Sylvania Southview High School for three years.

Snyder, a Branch Manager at Charter One Bank, attended the University of Toledo and is a graduate of Toledo Central Catholic High School.

Snyder and his wife, Sharon, have two kids, Jessica and Eric.
