Diane Schaffer is in her first year as the women's assistant basketball coach at Owens College. She is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota where she lettered for four years at the University of Minnesota.  Diane was second in the Big Ten for shot blocking her junior and senior years as well as being in the top ten for rebounding and scoring.  She was named "Rookie of the Year" her freshman year.  Diane handled sales and promotions for the Minnesota Timberwolves.  She also worked for the University of Minnesota and Fresno State at various basketball camps.
