Renee Kudzia is in her second year as women's head basketball coach at Owens College. 

In 1993-94, the team finished 15-15 and missed the regional tournament for the only time since 1992-93. Their season ended with a loss in the OCCAC tournament finals to Cuyahoga.

Coach Kudzia played high school basketball at Swanton, and college basketball at Eastern Michigan where she served as captain of the team her senior year.  She coached high school basketball in the Ypsilanti school system for one year and in the Swanton school system for four years.  In addition, Coach Kudzia served as assistant coach of the Swanton High School girls team when they traveled to the state tournament in 1989.
