High School: 2001 Ottoville High School graduate, Ottoville, Ohio, where she earned First Team All-Putnam County League and First Team All-District honors. A co-captain, Vorst was named recipient of the Most Inspirational Award and was a Scholar Athlete. She was a First Team All-PCL selection as a member of the volleyball and softball teams.

- In her only season with the Express, Vorst broke school records with 344 free throws attempted and 265 free throws made. Both marks also set national records. Her 648 points still stands as the second most in a single season at Owens.
