Owens career: In 2003-04, Brown was an OCCAC Second Team and Academic All-OCCAC selection. Her postseason honors included selection to the NJCAA D-II National Championship All-Tournament team and Owens' Most Valuable Player award. She averaged 13 points and 11 rebounds per game.

High School: 2003 Central Catholic High School graduate, Toledo, Ohio, where she was First Team All-Toledo City League and All-District.
