Christa Strube begins her first year as an assistant coach for the Express women's basketball program. 

A graduate of Jefferson High School, she earned her associate degree from Owens Community College in 2002.  Strube was a member of Owens' very successful women's basketball program from 2000-02.  She was a team captain and earned OCCAC Academic All-Conference honors.  After graduating from Owens, Strube attended Alderson-Broaddus College in Phillippi, West Virginia, where she served as team captain of the Battlers women's basketball team.  She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology.  Strube currently resides in Monroe, Michigan, and is a substitute teacher at Summit Academy in Toledo.
