Express Volleyball Delivery! Former National Champions Claim A trip back to Nationals in a four set thriller agains Sandhills Community College This Past Weekend.
This past weekend Owens Volleyball defeated the #11 ranked Sandhills in 4 sets:
25-20, 25-15, 15-25, 25-19
then defeated the #1 ranked team Butler in 3 sets: 25-19. 25-17, 25-20
The team was led in high Kills by Maddie White and Ava Sholtis each with (27)and Alexis Sarvo with (20)kills.
Maddie White led the team with 30 digs, Rheanna Patterson had (27) and Ava with (24).
This is the 7th consecutive year the team has qualified for the National Tournament after earning the National Champions title for the past three years. Express set sail to Minnesota for nationals on November 8th - 11th where the NJCAA III National Tournament will be held in Rochester, MN. Express will prep on Tuesday night (11/8) when they arrive to the tournament location at Rochester Regional Sports Center. Game times will begin the following morning, Wednesday 11/9 at 9am ET.
