Greg Nartker will begin his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Owens baseball program in 2022-23.

Nartker helped the Owens baseball program advanced to the NJCAA Division-III Baseball World Series in 2020-21. The Express tallied a 35-15 record which tied for the second-most wins in a single season in program history. 

The 2019-20 season saw high hopes for the Express, but was cut short after just four games after a 3-1 start to the season.

Coach Nartker was a volunteer assistant baseball coach under Justin Firks from 2009-2012 at Napoleon High School, and last season, he was an assistant baseball coach at Rossford High School.

Coach Nartker is also a long time summer travel baseball coach in the Northwest Ohio Area and has been instrumental in the development of many college baseball players.

Nartker, who is a Waterville, Ohio native, is the Lead Instructor/Coordinator of Welding at Northwest State Community College. Nartker also was an adjunct welding instructor at Owens from 1990-2010.
